you are bidding on three 1940 world series black bats. 2 are detroit tigers the other is a 1940 Reds bat.
condition of one of the detroit tiger bats is ex-mt just normal wear for the age does have a mounting hole on the handle end.
the second tiger bat shows more wear but still retains the gold lettering for the most part. the handle does have writing in pencil it says to a real pal jerry morgan besser from all the tigers. most likely a gift to someone the 1940 detroittiger players new and respected enough to give him one of there bats that Louisville Slugger sent each player.
the Reds bat shows the most wear but still retains about 80 percent of the gold lettering. none of the bats are cracked or repaired. these ar full size bats around 35" long only given to players coaches owners. getting harder and harder to find
