    Description

    This is a beautiful piece of Mexican folk art.
    It was handcrafted by Thomas Hernandez Baez; the brother in law of the famous potter Alfonso Castillo Orta of Matamoros Puebla, Mexico. The piece is also signed – see photos.
    This exquisite piece of ceramic art has many wonderful hand-painted details such as Frida’s delicate little bird earrings and the intricate designs on her shawl and skirt.
    This colorful and detailed piece of Mexican clay folk art would be a charming addition to any collection.
    It measures approx. 6 inches tall, 2 ¾ inches deep and 4 inches wide (at its widest point).
    The diameter of the base is 2 ½”.
    The center candle opening is 8/16” in diameter and the two end candle openings are 7/16”.
    It is in excellent condition: no chips, cracks or damage.
